Episode 31. How to Make Distance Teaching Easier with Jennifer Reeder

Versatility is one of humanity’s greatest strengths. We have always done our best to move on and continue on with our lives despite uncertain times.

One great example of this is our initiative to transition to an online platform to continue with our educational process now that schools have been paused. It has been challenging for both the teachers and the students but we’re thankful for trailblazers like the awesome Jennifer Reed who have shown us how to make distance teaching easier.

Jennifer is a teacher of the visually impaired and ACVIP certified Orientation and Mobility specialist. She works in the Central Illinois area in Peoria, Illinois. She works for school districts full time and is also working for the Bureau of Blind Services for O&M.

In this episode, she discusses the challenges that both her and her students faced when they moved to the online platform and how she and her support network have conquered them. You’d love to hear the methods that they’ve incorporated to make E learning more fun and effective. This episode should allow you to get a thing or two that you can use at home.

Should you want to reach Jennifer, you may do so through, Instagram, Teachers Pay Teachers and her email.
